My Background

My Approach

My treatment approach is one that is an interactive client  experience. This will include an initial assessment with follow-up re-assessments to evaluate the success of the treatments.

I like to take a "whole body" approach to help ascertain what can be contributing to a problem in order to create and carry out a treatment plan.

By combining manual therapy techniques of:

  • Hands on Soft tissue Manipulation

  • Assistive tools like Cupping

  • Stretching

  • Joint mobilizations

  • Therapeutic exercises for the home or gym

I have witnessed the transformation in my clients when I combine my approach.

I find it most rewarding when the clients express  the difference they have noticed in their function and health.

About myself...

It was back in high school after taking a Kinesololgy course I became more curious about health. I pursued that interest to attain my Bachelor's Degree of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science with Honours. This was a significant achievement also as I was the first of my family to attend and graduate from a post secondary institution.

I worked for a short time in a physiotherapy clinic but I found it wasn't fulfilling. I later went into teaching some fitness and aqua fitness classes, worked in customer services in a community centre, and as a recreation assistant with seniors.

Fast forward to 2017, it was attending a student massage clinic in Calgary with my own personal pain and discomfort that inspired me to become a Massage Therapist. Massage was the only thing that seemed to bring relief. Returning to Ontario,I studied and graduated with Honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2019. And in 2020 I began to my practice.

The human interaction, educational component, and the desire to continue to learn are a driving force for me as a therapist.
